To give you an idea of size, those white shelves are eight feet across (two four foot sections butted together).
Sorry I've been such a bad blogger. I did read two Carla Kelly books and oh my, both were good, but I just adored The Wedding Journey. Miss Milton Speaks Her Mind was good, too.

Now at least i have proof that I don't really have alot of books... LOL mine are pretty much only in a 5 shelf bookcase.
Yeah, so when I say I have a slight book problem, I have a problem. It's there in plain sight. A big problem. *sigh* So I really am getting serious about getting rid of books.

Well, I'm thinking that I really am going to have to keep my book stash to fitting on all the shelves I currently have. Cuz really, that's a lot of shelves. And I'm only 27! Think of how bad it would be if I kept at this current rate of accumulating books? It's that thought that really gets me wanting to figure out ways to pare down.
LOL - I don't feel quite so bad about my five bookshelves, and various boxes and unsorted piles now. But it does make me feel that I need to get some serious organizing done.
I feel your pain - sort-of. I just had a bookshelf built, to find out it wouldnt hold all my books. Damn thing cost 60 bucks and took someone 2 hours to do, grrr. Now I need to get through that all again. The worst is I was so excited to get a bookshelf and finally organize the reading material!
