La Di Dah...

Well, I was going to make a post about all the mysteries I've been reading lately, but I got sidetracked on the WW message boards. So I'll finish that later. Now I need to run out and get the ingredients for my vegetable beef soup. Yummmm... It's an Alton Brown recipe and simply delicious. And I need to get some more honeycrisp apples.....yum yum.

I think I'm going to go get my brows waxed, too. Shouldn't be any trouble getting in at this time in the morning.

I love Alton Brown's show because he explains the science behind cooking. Would you recommend his cookbooks?

Yeah, I'd recommend them. They're more the science behind things than recipes, but the one we have is fun to read.

I also hear you have a chat tomorrow. :-)

And ooph, I love this soup, but dang, fresh veggies are expensive!

Yeah, fresh vegetables are really expensive...there's a reason people eat fast food, 'cause it's way cheaper. I've added the two Alton Browns to my Amazon wish list. I love Mark Bittman for the same 'explaining the process' thing as Brown does. Only I know Brown goes more in-depth. But honestly, Bittman changed my cooking life. Before? Not a good cook. Now? Quite passable.
