No more silence

Thank you, Alison!

Alison had a link to Pandora.com on her blog. I hadn't actually clicked on it until last night, but wow...it's addicting. And such a great way to find new music!

And the further adventures of Gambit: One knocked over kitchen garbage can and an empty treat can were on the floor this morning. Treat can HAD been closed and on the kitchen table the night before. He's been sleeping all day. Hmm...might it be the combination of being sick and overeating?? So treats are now in the same un-openable container that the food is in. *sigh* I think he'll have our house more clean than ever just to be keeping things out of his mouth.

We did succeed in medicating him again this morning. At least he doesn't hold a grudge.

Once upon a time when Emma was a kitten (she's black and white long hair) we had a garbage can that had a swinging lid and was out in the kitchen. Bob and I hear a rustling sound and head into the kitchen only to find a black tail hanging out of the garbage can. We didn't have a camera at the time but it was hilarious.

Then it wasn't so funny because you would find chicken carcass or pork chop bones and BBQ sauce on the carpets. We now have a small container under the sink and take the garbage out daily.

Every once in a while I get a hankering for KFC and if I forget to throw the garbage outside immediately, I will find chicken bones all over the house.

Amber, the other kitty, thinks dumpster diving is beneath her. Doesn't stop her from enjoying what Emma digs up ;)
