I succeeded!

I have in my little hands, Crazy Kisses by Tara Janzen, The Kill by Allison Brennan, A Study in Scandal by Robyn DeHart, AND Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas. Yay!

I also picked up some used books while I was there: Search and Seizure by Julie Miller, The Mysterious Miss M by Diane Gaston, and Suite Fantasy by Janice Maynard.

Ooph...I really should write up some reviews. I've read The Little Lady Agency by Hester Brown, the first 4 issues of Hunter-Killer, The Switch by Lynsay Sands, and Midnight Man by Lisa Marie Rice.

And I need to straighten my office space so I can take some after pictures and get that post up.

Well, what is the only thing that will console you?????

Wee-eel, I'd probably sqeal in giddy delight if after this one, you were to consider reading another book that has been highly recommended. hah hah hah

And I'm hoping it IS a keeper for you 'cause then you'll spread the word and everyone will want one and then if sales are good, then maybe, just maybe, that might prove to publishers that there IS a market for books set in locations other than just Merry Ole England.

It's still not in the stores here so I have a few other books that never made it here that I think I'll order from Chapters on-line.

How did you like Hunter-Killer? I have the comic store calling me when the new issues get here and have reserved them. I love this series. I hope you liked it? A little bit? There is issue five out already and I'm waiting for issue 6....

Oh, I looooooooved it. But the damn comic shop that I found in town isn't open on Mondays. And their site doesn't mention carrying Top Cow stuff, so I need to call before I head there.

The art is yummy.

A Study in Scandal by Robyn DeHart?? Do tell if you like. I kept picking it up and if I had the money to blow would prolly get it.

I didn't like the first book of hers. But she seems like she could be really good.

I have no idea if I'll like it. I expect it to be an average read. Nothing spectacular.
