I still had to laugh when I saw the Good Girl's Guide to Bad Girl Sex in Barnes and Noble. The cover looked so similar to the Naked Truth. Didn't buy it then, figured I'd just head on over the BN.com and find the pic and then post them both. Well, BN doesn't have this cover version on their site. So, woe was me. Until I just decided that the book would be rather fun to have. And wasn't my first scanning job good? I'm impressed with myself.

No!!! It's exactly the same artwork! How weird. You don't usually see that happen on two new books...

Not only is it sad, it's an awful image! I have The Naked Truth, but it's not a book I would feel comfortable reading in public, simply because of the cover. And I usually have a high tolerance for that kind of thing.

I'm impressed with your scanning too! And I've seen very similar covers before but none that are identical like that!
Yeah, I was pretty shocked to see that it was the EXACT same woman on both covers. One is just slightly brighter than the other.
And...anyone want a review of the Good Girl's Guide to Bad Girl Sex when I finish? :-)
Someone in that art department REALLY liked that image. Or they didn't want to bother asking an artist: hey, can you draw another cartoon figure? Because, you know, artists don't like to do that kind of thing or anything.

So you're saying these books are not related in any way? Heads would roll!! Doubled the art and it's ugly - at least to my eyes. Yikes.
And, ah, yeah, a review of the Bad Sex book would be welcome. I mean, with a title like that you do wonder.

No relation. The Bad Girl Sex edition is a special Barnes and Noble published one. Couldn't even find this cover on their website, just a different version.
aww, I'm apparently the only one who likes the naked cartoon lady. The cheese stands alone, I see.
You're not alone Jay. I don't love the cover, but it's cute. I just meant it was awful that they put the same cover on two books!
